However, if that person waits until they are 65 to retire, they will only have to have saved $1.3 million to carry them through their golden years in a comfortable fashion.

In general, the group found that there was a significant boost to those products that had been advertised and promoted on a podcast channel. Some of the Key results of this study includes a 7% increase in listener brand referability, financial products, car goods and garden product saw over 20% more product responsiveness and there was a 18% increase in positive respondent views.

 

Norman Pattiz and he team preformed their research during the last few month of 2016 and were elated to find a positive trend for the products that were sponsored. While some of the brands they chose were well established, some of them were launching a new item campaign and needed to be advertised effectively. This required Pattiz and the rest of Edison Research to monitor a podcast’s online audience weeks before the actual advertisements were posted. After one to two months of airing the team found that listeners were receptive.
