Dr. Mark Holterman Is A Pediatrician And Surgeon Who Helps Healthcare Innovators Turn Their Ideas Into Companies

Dr. Mark Holterman is a talented pediatrician who is also an experienced surgeon with years of practice under his belt. He is an ivy league scholar who earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology while studying at Yale University. He moved on from there to study at the University of Virginia where he received his MD and Ph.D. in Medicine and Immunology. With close to 30 years of medical practice, Dr. Holterman specializes in many different areas of medicine and pediatrics including Biliary Atresia, Neonatology, and Short Bowel Syndrome.

Dr. Mark Holterman serves as the Director of Surgery at the University of Washington, finished his residency at the University of Virginia in General Surgery, worked at Seattles Children Hospital where he finished his fellowship of Pediatric Surgery, and served as a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a Chief of Pediatric Surgery, he guided surgical residents and medical students, and he also served the Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn as its chief surgeon.
